IT’S SAFE, SECURE, QUICK, AND EASY!

1. Use a QR code or type in register.hcachess.org.
   We recommend bookmarking the URL on your device, but if you forget, you can always visit our website to access it, too.

2. Click the desired event you wish to register for.
   Remember, we now use this site for everything, so get familiar!

3. Click “Buy One.” EVEN IF AN EVENT IS FREE, THE BUTTON WILL STILL SAY “BUY ONE.”

4. Type in your child’s first and last name at the top, not the adult’s.
   This way the advance entry list will display the child’s name instead of the parent’s/adult’s. There is also the option to save a user profile to avoid the need to reenter names and info every time.

5. Fill in all the required information boxes, including purchasing or renewing a USCF membership if necessary.
   Some of our events will require you or your child to have a valid U.S. Chess Federation membership and ID number.
   Visit new.uschess.org to get one or check your expiration, or get one directly through register.hcachess.org (recommended!). Players in grades PK-3 who will only play in 3rd Grade/Under sections may request a free membership called a JTP membership: https://forms.gle/yw1bnk7PdNT1X7ri6

6. Submit your registration and payment.

7. Shortly afterward, you will receive a confirmation email. Contact us with any questions, concerns, or feedback.
